I am Dr. Sam Merz, a licensed naturopathic physicial in Oregon.

I am passionate about helping patients feel like themselves again. Obviously, as we age, hormones change. The further we get in our careers, the more expectations we have to perform. We have children, relationships, societal pressures and different life events changing us. At times, it may seem like everything is working against us and our body is letting us know, loud and clear. Addressing hormones, cortisol, thyroid, nervous system and sleep can change everything about the way you are functioning in life.

As a naturopathic doctor, I want to start natural and use natural modalities as often as we can but I do have a DEA license and use pharmaceuticals when warranted. We have all the tools to decide what is the best fit for you. When it comes to supplements, they should be supplemental. If you have been on the same supplement for 2 years, then the root cause hasn't been addressed and dealt with.

I have extensive knowledge and experience in hormone therapy, burnout, anxiety and everything that comes with them. Every patient that sits in my office needs support in these areas. And I am passionate about helping every single patient.
